Title:Spain boss Fernando Hierro says 'I'm the new coach, get used to that!'

KAZAN, Russia -- Celebrating a first win just one week into the job, Spain's new boss Fernando Hierro said he was happy with the narrow 1-0 defeat of Iran, while adding that people had better get used to him being in charge.

With Spain and Portugal on four points, Iran just behind on three, and Morocco on zero points, Hierro said the group had proved one of the trickiest ones. Spain now face Morocco, who are eliminated from the tournament after losing to Portugal on Wednesday, in the third and final game of the group stage.

For Iran to finally achieve their dream against Portugal, Queiroz thought, would be all the more remarkable given the gulf that has opened up between European countries and the rest of the football world.
