JEDDAH – The Council of Ministers on Tuesday hoped that the Islamic Scholars' Conference on Afghanistan, which began in Jeddah, would bring about positive outcome in restoring peace and stability in the war-torn country.

Minister of State, Member of Cabinet and Acting Minister of Media Dr. Issam Bin Saad said the weekly Cabinet session, chaired by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman,

国务部长、内阁成员和媒体代理部长Issam Bin Saad博士说，由萨勒曼国王主持的每周内阁会议。

welcomed convening of the conference which is being attended by a large number of eminent Islamic scholars from Afghanistan as well as from various parts of the world.

The conference will conclude in Makkah on Wednesday.

会议将于星期三在麦加结束。

The Cabinet noted that the conference is discussing ways of contributing to the efforts of achieving peace and stability in Afghanistan and will condemn terrorism and extremism in all their forms and manifestations.

内阁指出，会议正在讨论如何促进实现阿富汗和平与稳定的努力，并将谴责一切形式和表现的恐怖主义和极端主义。

At the outset of the session,
